Vivo T3: Vivo launches affordable phone with Sony’s triple camera and fast charging

Vivo launched the new Vivo T3 model in India today (March 21) as per schedule. The company’s new budget smartphone is similar to its sub-brand iQOO’s recently launched iQOO Z9 handset. The only difference is that the Vivo phone offers three rear cameras instead of two. The Vivo T3 was launched as the successor to last year’s Vivo T2. This T2 was again similar to the iQOO Z7x in terms of specifications. The new phone offers an AMOLED display, MediaTek Dimesnity 7200 chipset, 50-megapixel primary camera and 5,000mAh battery with 44W fast charging support under Rs 20,000. Let’s take a look at the details of the Vivo T3 including its price.

Vivo T3 Price and Availability in India

Vivo T3 has been launched in India in two variants. The standard 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant is priced at Rs 19,999 and the higher end 8GB RAM + 256GB storage model can be bought for Rs 21,999. It is available in two color options – Cosmic Blue and Crystal Flake.

The sale is starting from 12 noon on March 27. It will be available for sale on the company’s official website, Flipkart and retail stores across the country. 2,000 instant rebate on transactions made through HDFC Bank and State Bank of India (SBI) credit cards.

Specifications and Features of Vivo T3

The Vivo T3 comes with a plastic build like its predecessor and other devices in the same price segment. Besides, it has a flat frame and the cameras are placed on a slightly raised rectangular island at the top of the rear panel. The handset features a 6.67-inch centered punch-hole AMOLED (AMOLED) display on the front. It supports 2,400 x 1,080 pixels resolution, 394 ppi, 1,800 nits peak brightness level and 120 Hz refresh rate.

For performance, the phone is powered by the MediaTek Dimesnity 7200 chipset, coupled with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage. And for power backup, the Vivo T3 packs a powerful 5,000mAh battery with 44W wired fast charging support.

For photography, the Vivo T3’s triple camera setup includes a 50-megapixel Sony IMX882 primary sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS), a 2-megapixel depth sensor, and a flicker sensor. And in front of the phone there is a 16 megapixel front camera. The smartphone comes with dual stereo speakers, an in-screen fingerprint sensor, a microSD card slot and an IP54 rated chassis. And for connectivity, Vivo T3 offers dual SIM, 5G, WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, GNSS and USB Type-C port.
