News has already surfaced that Ether is going to unveil a new model at their Community Day on April 6, 2024 in Bengaluru. This is a family e-scooter – Ather 450 Apex. But this is not the end. CEO of the company Tarun Mehta also said about putting smiles on the faces of the existing customers. Ether will appear that day with a series of announcements.
April 6 Ather brings a bunch of surprises
Mehta says the most important OTA update is coming to their 450 electric scooter. This package includes messaging from the dashboard, a new smartphone application and other mind-blowing features. Some reports even claim that Ether may offer Ola-like proximity lock/unlock features on their battery scooters.
Ether will display their 450 Apex for trial in front of buyers on that day. Ether is also bringing another surprise to Community Day. A competition will be organized there. The company is giving the winners a chance to win a 450 series scooter.
Ether has been testing the Rizta model on Indian roads for the past few months. The moment was caught on camera multiple times. It features a completely new design that sets it apart from the rest of the 450 series models. The overall bodywork brings out the family scooter looks. It is also large in size. The Ather Rizta is expected to be priced between Rs 1.25 lakh and Rs 1.35 lakh (ex-showroom) in the Indian market.
