Jio is India's first telecom company to launch VoNR or Voice over New Radio service. Earlier no telecom company could bring this technology. Mukesh Ambani's company overtook Airtel, VI. If you are a Jio 5G user then you can use it. Audio can be heard in HD quality.
What is VoNR technology?
This is a special calling technique. An upgraded version of the currently used VoLTE system. Voice over New Radio technology enables low-latency audio transfer, which will enhance the calling experience. Basically, the background noise is heard during the call, so that the voice of the person on the other end cannot be heard clearly. VoNR will eliminate this problem.
Jio said that 5G users can use it. Audio transfer is possible in HD quality. The company believes that communication will be faster and more seamless due to low latency. This is the first such service in India. Neither Airtel nor VI has yet to introduce the advanced technology.
Jio took a step forward in this race. The number of 5G users is gradually increasing across the country. They expect good service from telecom companies. Especially in calling. According to the company, VoNR technology is superior to Voice over LTE technology and background noise is much less audible. As a result, users can hear each other clearly.
It is expected to be rolled out to all 5G users' phones over time. This can be a good experience for those who are migrating from 4G to 5G.
