Jeep India announced the good news before Jamaishashti. The company has announced to reduce the price of their best selling model Jeep Compass by 1.7 lakh rupees. Note that only the base variant of the car has been reduced in price. Whereas the price of other variants has been increased by Rs. 17,000. As a result of the new price announcement, the Jeep Compass is currently priced at Tk 18.99 lakh to Tk 32.41 lakh (ex-showroom). Earlier the price of this car started from Tk 20.69 lakh (ex-showroom).

Jeep Compass is sold in six variants – Sport, Longitude, Longitude (O), Limited (O), Blackshark (O) and Model S (O). Noteworthy features on the base spec Sport include an 8.4-inch touchscreen infotainment system, 17-inch alloy wheels, semi-digital cluster, reflector LED headlamps, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, engine start-stop, steering mounted controls, electric parking brake. , TPMS, Dual Airbags, TCS, ESC, Hill Start Assist etc.
On the other hand, the top spec variant of Jeep Compass features a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, connected car tech, full digital 10.25-inch driver display, ventilated front seats, 8-way adjustable powered driver's seat, wireless phone charger, cruise Control, dual zone climate control, 6 airbags, 360 degree camera etc.
A 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder, Multijet diesel engine is offered as the powertrain in the Jeep Compass. It produces a maximum power of 170 PS and a torque of 350 Nm. The car can be optioned with 6-speed manual and 9-speed automatic transmission. This same engine is used in Tata Safari, Harrier, MG Hector Plus and Jeep Meridian.
