From Harrier EV to Sierra EV, Tata announces the launch of four rugged electric vehicles with 500 km range

The launch timeline of Tata Curvv EV, Harrier EV, Sierra EV and Avinya has been announced. These four electric cars are expected to take the Indian market by storm.

Tata Motors dreams of redefining the world of electric vehicles. For India, they are working on several advanced EV models. They will be as eye-catching in terms of style as they are rich in features. In a word, the upcoming cars will be several steps ahead of Tata's current EV models in terms of weight and dimensions. After the Punch EV, Tata Curvv EV and Harrier EV will be the company's second and third electric vehicles to be launched this year.

Tata Motors is bringing four powerful electric cars

Tata Motors has announced that it will launch the Curvv EV and Harrier EV in the financial year 2024-25. Not only that, there are two more futuristic models on the list. These are Tata Sierra EV and Avinya. These will be introduced in the financial year 2025-26. But it is not possible to increase the number of buyers only by launching the car. Adequate EV charging stations are also needed, as are petrol pumps. Tata is involved in its expansion. It is working to increase the number of chargers in the country from 10,000 to one lakh by FY 2029-30.

Again, within the financial year 2029-30, the community charging network will be increased from 4,300+ to 1 lakh units. Apart from this, Tata Motors has said that their upcoming electric vehicles will use high energy density or high capacity batteries. These will also support fast charging. It will be used with high performance electric motor. The cars will be offered with all wheel drive.

It is known that Tata's upcoming battery car will have a new display. Which will support OTA update. Again connected car technology and in-car apps can be seen. Each model will offer vehicle-to-load, vehicle-to-vehicle charging systems and different driving modes. Range on full charge will be around 500 km.
