Hyundai: The country’s best-selling SUV is coming to the market in an electric version, what features will there be?

From cheap to expensive, almost all companies are involved in the rat race of launching electric cars according to the demand of the customers. Recently, there is a trend of bringing electric vehicles to the public market along with premium models among various companies. For example, the name of Hyundai can be taken. Because after the premium EVs Kona and Ioniq-5, this is the first time they are working on an electric vehicle aimed at mass-market i.e. general buyers. Adding a new dimension to that speculation, the test run of Hyundai’s electric version of Creta, currently India’s best-selling SUV, has been seen on the country’s roads.

Hyundai Creta EV spotted on road ahead of launch

For the first time in March this year, the Creta EV was spotted on camera during road testing. Now once again the electric version of the Creta with a battery pack has been spotted on the roads. With no exhaust pipe to emit smoke, it is clear that the car is indeed running on electric power. Even in it no radiator was found.

Talking about the exterior of the spotted Creta EV, while no changes are noticed, the exterior is expected to be different. Meanwhile, the ICE version of the Creta facelift is going to be launched in the Indian market very soon. So it is believed that the updated design of the facelift version is likely to be seen in the electric variant.

The interior of the car is likely to get a new dashboard layout, which is compatible with the EV version. Features may include regenerative braking, drive modes, larger infotainment system, a digital instrument cluster, panoramic sunroof, etc.

Hyundai Creta EV Launch Timing

The Hyundai Creta EV is still in the early stages of testing and development. Currently, Hyundai is believed to be testing the battery pack and motor of their existing model. So that they can work properly in Creta EV. The car is expected to be launched in India in 2025.
