OnePlus is rumored to launch two new flagship models in the second half of this year These upcoming devices will be marketed as – OnePlus Ace Pro and OnePlus 12. Today again tipster Digital Chat Station (Digital Chat Station) has informed about the display design and resolution of these two handsets. Reportedly, the first model will offer a punch-hole style 1.5K resolution supported display. And the second smartphone i.e. OnePlus 12 can be seen with Quad HD Plus touchscreen, which is likely to be manufactured by Samsung Display Corporation.
OnePlus 12 smartphone display design
According to the latest report by popular tipster Digital Chat Station – the OnePlus 12 smartphone will feature an OLED display, which will be manufactured in partnership with Samsung Display Corporation. The display will have curved edges and a punch-hole style cutout at the top. The device in question is also said to support Quad HD Plus resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. Notably, the predecessor OnePlus 11 5G (OnePlus 11 5G) had a cutout on the top left corner for the selfie camera position and also featured a curved-edge display.
Incidentally, the OnePlus 12 5G flagship phone is expected to launch with Qualcomm’s upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 (SD8G3) processor. And since the SD8G3 chipset is likely to debut in October, we guess the model could be announced by the end of November or December.
Possible Display Features of OnePlus Ace 2 Pro Smartphone
Along with the OnePlus 12 smartphone, information about the display design and features of the OnePlus S2 Pro smartphone has also been brought forward. Reportedly, the handset in question will feature a punch-hole (centered) style curved-edge display. It will come with an OLED display panel supporting 1.5K resolution, which will be supplied by Chinese display manufacturer Beijing Oriental Electronics Group (BOE).
Incidentally, reports have surfaced that the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro may make its debut in China next July. And this news may be true! Because this phone will probably use Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 2 chipset, which is going to be launched this month.
However, some previous reports claimed that the upcoming OnePlus Ace 2 Pro smartphone will feature a similar display to the Oppo Reno 10 Pro+ model. If so, the OnePlus handset could come with a 6.74-inch OLED display. And this display will likely offer – 1240×2772 pixels resolution, 20:9 aspect ratio, 120 Hz refresh rate, 1400 nits peak brightness and high-frequency dimming.
