As the saying goes “old rice grows into rice”. And keeping this proverb in mind, Hero MotoCorp, India’s and the world’s largest two-wheeler manufacturer, is going to bring back the once market-shaking bike Karizma with a twist on their old weapon. They are going to launch the iconic bike in a new avatar next month to make a place in the minds of the customers. What a surprise it will have. Let’s find out.
Shown to dealers a couple of months ago
Two months ago, Hero showed a glimpse of the new Karizma at an event held with its dealers. This time the launch date of the bike has been announced in the teaser. This sporty motorcycle is going to return to its place in its glory on August 29 under the name of Karizma XMR.
Talking about the design at the beginning, several styling elements have been added to give a new look to the new generation Hero Karisma. The sharp design is evident through the headlamps on the front fender. Other notable features include the gold colored engine, long exhaust pipe, separate seats and all disc brakes.
The new Karizma XMR is based on a new platform. It has a 210 cc liquid cooled engine to provide power. This engine can produce 25 bhp of power and 30 Nm of torque. In addition, the transmission is in charge of a six-speed manual gear box.
It is already clear that the updated version of the Karisma is going to be launched based on the new platform to improve a lot from the old Karisma. So there are several features to make it more amazing and attractive. Apart from being rich in advanced technology, it will get many other features including LED lighting, turn by turn navigation, digital instrument cluster, connectivity features.
