Awesome design with great camera, Vivo V29 series design and features revealed

Vivo recently launched Vivo Y27 4G smartphone in India with MediaTek Helio G85 chipset. And now, according to a tipster, the company is planning to launch another ‘brand-new’ smartphone called Vivo V29 Pro in the country very soon. The tipster also claims that the Vivo V29 and V29 Lite smartphones may also be launched in various domestic markets alongside the said model. This news may be true. Because in Halfil we have seen the Vivo V29 Pro smartphone listed on the ‘Bureau of Indian Standards’ (BIS) certification site. Which clearly indicates that the launch of the said model is imminent. Also today, a new teaser video for the upcoming V29 series has been shared on the website of Vivo company’s Turkish branch. So that the design of all smartphones in the lineup is clearly visible.

Incidentally, Vivo has already launched the V29 Lite smartphone in Europe. The handset is originally launched as a rebranded version of the Vivo Y78 5G smartphone, which debuted in Singapore.

According to the teaser video shared by Vivo, the base model of the series i.e. Vivo V29 will have a rear camera module with a design similar to the Vivo S17 smartphone. However, the teaser video suggests that the upcoming model will not feature an LED ring light like the existing phone. Apart from this, the position of the LED flash-light in the upcoming device is also different.

Meanwhile, the Vivo V29 smartphone will come with a triple rear camera setup. In which the upper cutout will house the primary camera and the lower one will house the auxiliary cameras.

Vivo V29 smartphone series likely specifications

According to information provided by the tipster, the upcoming Vivo V29 smartphone will feature a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with Full HD resolution and 120Hz refresh rate support. For performance it may have Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G Plus processor. Again, up to 12 GB of RAM and a maximum of 256 GB of ROM will be available as storage.

Vivo may bring this upcoming device with a 64-megapixel primary rear camera with OIS-technology support. And as a secondary camera, it can be given – 8 megapixel ultra-wide angle lens and 2 megapixel macro lens. Again, the punch-hole cutout at the top of the display is expected to house a 50-megapixel selfie camera with autofocus support. The device will come with a 4,505mAh capacity battery, which supports 80W fast charging.

On the other hand, the newly released teaser video confirmed that the design of the Vivo V29 Pro smartphone will be similar to the base model of this series. But as a primary difference, the higher models will add LED ring lights. Notably, the handset in question was recently spotted listed on the BIS certification site with the model number V2251. The device has also been approved by benchmarking site Geekbench. The listing confirms that the Vivo V29 Pro smartphone will be powered by the MediaTek Dimension 8200 chipset.

It is also known that this top-end model of the series will be launched with up to 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage. It will run Funtouch OS 13.1 (Funtouch OS 13.1) custom skin based on Android 13. It may feature a curved design AMOLED display, the size of which may be 6.7-inches. Furthermore, for photography, the phone is expected to have a triple rear camera setup with – 50-megapixel primary sensor with OIS + 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens + 12-megapixel telephoto sensor. It will also offer a 50-megapixel selfie camera like the base model. And for power backup, the Vivo V29 Pro smartphone can come with a 4,600mAh capacity battery with 80W fast charging support.
