Recently, Hero MotoCorp has focused on the premium motorcycle market. Recently the company launched the X440 in the respective segment in alliance with Xtreme 160R 4V and Harley Davidson. This time they are targeting the scooter segment of the country. Because in the last few years, their dominance in this regard has been seen to decrease. However, the company has also given a message to turn around by launching the very stylish and feature-rich Xoom 110.
It is believed that, inspired by the success of the Xoom 110, Hero is going to bring the 125 cc version of the scooter. Fueling the speculation, a prototype version of the scooter was recently spotted testing at an area adjacent to Hero’s research and development center in Jaipur. Though wrapped in full camouflage, a close-up and clear picture of the Xoom 125’s design has been hinted at.
Hero Xoom 125 : Design
The scooter has a masculine design on the front and sides. The styling is largely similar to the Zoom 125. The rear wheel is relatively large. Above which there are small fenders. As the design suggests, it is indeed the larger Hero Xoom or Xoom 125.
Hero Xoom 125 : Engine and Features
Like the Hero Maestro Edge 125 and Destiny 125, it may have a 125 cc single cylinder engine. The front and rear will have telescopic forks and monoshock units respectively. The Xoom 125 gets a disc brake philosophy at the front to handle the braking duties. It may have a full digital console with smartphone connectivity. The scooter is in the initial stage of testing. So the buyers will have to wait for some time for the official announcement from Hero.
