Hero MotoCorp is moving forward with long experience in the 100-125 cc motorcycle segment. They have already secured their position in the market of cheap commuter bikes. This time, the country’s largest two-wheeler manufacturer is going to introduce a pair of new models in the 125 cc segment to attract the young generation. One of which is a sporty bike like Glamor and another is a premium model like TVS Raider.
Hero brings 125 cc premium bike
A brand new 125cc motorcycle was recently spotted near Hero’s Center of Innovation and Technology in Jaipur. Though wrapped in full camouflage, the model looks to belong to the premium segment. Various reports also claim that it will have a 125 cc engine with a stylish design.
The bike is seen with less equipment than the recently launched Hero Xtreme 160R. Again the spotted motorcycle could be a 150-160 cc model. But that is unlikely to happen. Because there is no news of making Hero bike in the respective segment. Meanwhile, it was heard a few days ago that Hero is currently working on a 125cc sporty model.
Now the question is whether Hero will bring the bike based on the platform of Super Splendor and Glamor or will introduce it as a completely new model, only time will tell. The spotted premium 125 cc bike features aggressive looking headlamps. Besides, the hump present in it adds a new dimension to the tank design. The bike is expected to compete with TVS Raider and 125 Duke.
