The much awaited Xiaomi 14 Civi smartphone has finally been launched in the Indian market. This model comes as the brand's latest affordable flagship model and offers some high-end specifications and features at a lower price than premium phones. It is basically a rebranded version of the Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro phone, which was launched in March in China. The Xiaomi 14 CV has been launched in India in three color options, namely Cruise Blue, Macha Green, and Shadow Black. The starting price of the 8 GB RAM + 256 GB variant of this phone is Rs 39,999, while the price of the 12 GB RAM + 512 GB storage version is Rs 43,999. In addition, ICICI Bank is offering a direct discount of Rs 3,000 and an exchange bonus of Rs 3,000 for ICICI Bank Debit and Credit users. Xiaomi 14 Civi Phone Design and Specifications
The back of the Xiaomi 14 CV phone has a premium glass panel. It will also be available in eco leather variant. The rear panel of the phone houses a circular camera module for the image sensor and LED flash. It has a flat frame on the edges, which is made of aluminum. The Xiaomi 14CV phone is only 7.45 mm slim and weighs 179 grams.
The Xiaomi 14 Civi has a 6.55-inch AMOLED display on the front that offers 1.5K resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+, 100 percent DCI-P3 color gamut, 3,000 nits peak brightness and Dolby Vision. The screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2. The company also refers to the screen as a 'floating quad-curve' display. This panel supports wet touch technology, which helps to avoid unwanted touch when the screen is wet. There is also a pill-shaped cutout, which houses the dual selfie camera setup.
For performance, the Xiaomi 14 Civi runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor, paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage. In terms of power backup, the Xiaomi 14 Civi comes with a 4,700mAh battery, which supports 67W wired fast charging. The phone is expected to be fully charged in about 40 minutes. The phone will stay cool with the help of Xiaomi Iceloop technology.
