Three Honor 200 series phones launched, curved display with 100W charging, 108-megapixel camera in cheaper model

The Honor 200 series was finally launched in the global market today (June 12). The lineup includes the standard Honor 200 edition as well as the Honor 200 Pro and Honor 200 Lite variants. The first two models are successors to last year's Honor 100 and Honor 100 Pro models. The Honor 200 and Honor 200 Pro debuted in China last month and its global variants also offer the same specifications. Let us know in detail about the price, specifications and features of all three models of the Honor 200 series.

Honor 200 series specifications and features

The Honor 200 and Honor 200 Pro models feature a 6.78-inch OLED display with curved edges, offering a 120Hz refresh rate and 4,000 nits peak brightness. The standard version has a resolution of 2,664 x 1,200 pixels and the Pro model has a resolution of 2,700 x 1,224 pixels. Both the phones have display features like AI circadian night display, low blue light and TUV flicker-free certification. Both handsets share the same design with a pill-shaped camera island and a textured pattern on the rear panel.

For photography, the Honor 200 and Honor 200 Pro sport triple rear cameras with the same setup. However, there are slight differences in the sensors of the two devices. The standard model features a 50-megapixel 1/1.56-inch primary camera with optical image stabilization (OIS), a 50-megapixel OIS+EIS telephoto lens, and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle unit. On the other hand, the Pro variant features a 50-megapixel 1/1.3-inch H900 main sensor and a 50-megapixel telephoto lens with OIS and EIS support and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens. And the standard and Pro models have a 50-megapixel selfie camera on the front. Both smartphones come with AI-powered camera features.

As for performance, the Honor 200 runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor, paired with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. On the other hand, the Honor 200 Pro handset is powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor. The phone is only available in 12GB RAM + 512GB storage configuration. Both phones offer a 5,200mAh silicon-carbon battery with 100W wired charging support. The Pro variant supports 66W wireless and reverse wireless charging. The Honor 200 and 200 Pro models run on Android 14 based MagicOS 8.0 custom skin with AI features like Magic Portal, Magic Capsule, Magic Lock Screen.

On the other hand, the Honor 200 Lite phone is an affordable version of the standard and Pro models. It has a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with 2,000 nits peak brightness. Its camera setup includes a 108-megapixel main sensor with a 5-megapixel depth and 2-megapixel macro lens. The device will have 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage.

Honor 200 Series Price and Availability

The Honor 200 series will be available in Ocean Cyan (Pro), Emerald Green (Standard), Moonlight White and Black colors. The Honor 200 Pro starts at €799 (approx. Rs. 72,300) / £699.99 (approx. Rs. 75,100) and as a launch offer, buyers will also get free Harman Kardon Onyx Studio 8 speakers. Meanwhile, the Honor 200 model starts at €599 (approx. Rs. 54,200) / £499.99 (approx. Rs. 53,600). This phone comes with free JBL Charge 5 Wi-Fi. The phones will go on sale from June 26. Finally, the Honor 200 Lite phone is priced at 329 Euros (approx. Rs. 29,800) / £279.99 (approx. Rs. 30,000). It is not yet confirmed when the Honor 200 will enter the Indian market.
