Vivo Y200e 5G is coming to the country with AMOLED display and battery will be charged at high speed

Vivo is currently reported to be working on a new Y-series phone called the Vivo Y200e 5G. The smartphone recently appeared in the database of Bluetooth SIG. And now the Vivo Y200e 5G has received BIS clearance in India, indicating that the phone is going to be launched in the country soon. Let’s find out what information has surfaced so far about this handset.

Vivo Y200e 5G gets BIS approval

A Vivo phone with model number V2336 has appeared on the Bureau of Indian Standards certification platform. The phone was previously spotted in the Bluetooth Special Interest Group’s database, which revealed that its marketing name will be the Vivo Y200e 5G. Incidentally, the Vivo Y200e 5G model is believed to be a rebranded version of the Vivo Y100 5G, which was recently launched in Indonesia. One of the reasons behind this is that the V2327 and V2336 appear as the same device in the list of Google-supported devices.

Hence, the Vivo Y200e 5G will feature a 6.67-inch FullHD+ AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate, Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset, 8GB RAM and 128GB / 256GB storage. In terms of power backup, it can use a 5,000 mAh battery, which can come with an 80 watt battery.

For photography, the Vivo Y200e 5G will have a dual-camera system on the back consisting of a 50-megapixel primary camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens. And an 8 megapixel selfie camera can be seen in front of the phone. The phone will run on Android 14 based Funtouch OS 14 custom skin. It may include an under-display fingerprint scanner.

However, readers should note that there are currently three different Vivo Y100 5G phones in the market Of these, the MediaTek Dimensity 900 powered model was launched in India last year. The second is the Chinese version featuring the Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 processor, which debuted last year. And the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2-powered Y100 5G was launched in Indonesia a few days ago. This third and final variant is expected to be rebranded as Vivo Y200e 5G.
