Vivo X100 Ultra: Vivo launched a 200MP camera phone, pictures will be taken like a DSLR!

Three new devices from the Vivo X100 series hit the market today (May 13), putting an end to all speculations. The newly launched devices are – Vivo X100 Ultra, Vivo X100s and Vivo X100s Pro. As the name suggests, the 'Ultra' is the top-of-the-line model with flagship-grade cameras across the lineup. The handset features an E7 AMOLED display, ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint sensor, 200-megapixel periscope camera, Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, 16GB RAM, 5,500mAh battery with 80W wired fast charging support. Vivo X100 Ultra: Specifications and Features

The Vivo X100 Ultra has a 6.78-inch curved E7 AMOLED screen with a resolution of 3,200×1,440 pixels. It supports 120 Hz refresh rate, 3,000 nits peak brightness and Dolby Vision. The device will get an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner for security. The smartphone comes with the same design as the X100 series standard and Pro with a circular protruding camera module. The Vivo X100 Ultra comes with IP69 and IP68 rated chassis for dust and water resistance.

For photography, the Vivo X100 Ultra model features a triple camera setup with Zeiss-branding on the back panel. This setup features a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-900 one-inch sensor, which offers a focal length of 23mm. It is accompanied by a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor, which offers a focal length of 14 millimeters and a field-of-view of 116 degrees. Besides, the phone has a 200-megapixel 1/1.14-inch HP9 periscope telephoto lens, with a focal length of 85 millimeters. It has a floating design, capable of clicking macro shots with details. It runs on OriginOS 4 custom skin based on Android 14 operating system. Also, the Vivo X100 Ultra comes with two-way satellite connectivity. It also includes X-axis linear motor, studio-grade microphone, stereo double speakers.

In the Chinese market, the base 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant of the Vivo x100 Ultra phone has been priced at 6,499 Yuan (about Rs. 76,530). The mid-tier 16GB RAM + 512GB storage model is priced at 7,299 Yuan (approx. Rs. 84,300), while the top-end 16GB RAM + 1TB storage configuration is priced at 7,999 Yuan (approx. Rs. 92,360). The smartphone can be chosen in Titanium, White and Space Gray colors.
