Vivo X Fold 3: Vivo is bringing a dual display smartphone in March, the price will be lower

Vivo is rumored to hold a big launch event in China in March There the brand is expected to release their next generation foldable phones – Vivo X Fold 3 and Vivo X Fold 3 Pro. Vivo X Fold 3 and X Fold 3 Pro with model numbers V2303A and V2337A have received clearance from China’s regulatory body, MIIT. However, the listing of this platform does not reveal any information regarding the specifications However, some recent reports have leaked various specifications of these foldables. Let’s take a look at them.

Vivo X Fold 3 Series Specifications (Probable)

According to reports, the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro will be a premium phone, powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 flagship chipset. It can offer primary inner display with 120Hz refresh rate and 2K resolution. The X Fold 3 Pro may have a massive 5,700mAh battery with 100W wired and 50W wireless charging support.

For security, the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro will have an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner embedded on both the cover and the inner display. The rear of the phone may include a 50-megapixel OV50H primary camera with optical image stabilization (OIS) support, an ultra-wide lens and a 64-megapixel periscope telephoto camera.

On the other hand, the Vivo X Fold 3 could be launched as an affordable foldable phone, as it is rumored to pack a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. For security, it may get a side-facing fingerprint sensor and a 5,600 mAh battery. While there is no information available yet about the wired charging speed of the Vivo X Fold 3, it is expected to lack wireless charging support.

For photography, the rear camera setup of the Vivo X Fold 3 is rumored to feature a 50-megapixel OV50H main camera. However, it may be missing the periscope zoom camera. Both models are expected to run Android 14-based Origin OS 4 custom skin. Besides, the Vivo X Fold 3 could come as the lightest foldable phone weighing less than 230 grams.
