Vivo is expected to launch the X200 series of smartphones by October. Multiple information about this flagship lineup has already come to light. Last week a source leaked details of the Periscope telephoto camera on the Vivo X200 Pro model. Now again from there the specifications of the phone's primary camera have come to light. It is claimed to have Sony's new custom sensor.

Vivo X200 Pro Primary Camera

The tipster did not name the phone specifically in the digital chat station Weibo post. But it is clear from the comment section, the Vivo X200 Pro phone is mentioned. It may have a customized Sony camera. It is a 50-megapixel camera with a sensor size of 1/1.28 inches and an aperture of f/1.57.

It should be noted that the Vivo X100 Pro, which was launched in October last year, has a 50-megapixel one-inch Sony IMX989 main camera. Compared to that, the X200 Pro may come with a smaller primary camera. But the high-quality sensor and aperture specifications point to excellent low-light performance and depth-of-field control.

Earlier reports suggested that the Vivo X200 Pro might come with a 200-megapixel periscope telephoto camera. The series may feature True-TCG HDR technology, its own VCS 3.0 and the first generation of Vivo imaging chips. As a result, improvements can be seen in night photography, backlit portrait shooting, and telephoto cameras.
