Vivo is bringing a pair of phones with 80 W charging support, may be launched this month

Vivo is currently preparing to launch their new smartphone in the market. While the name of the phone has not yet been made public, it has now been spotted on China’s 3C (CCC) certification database with the model number V2361A. A variant of the phone with the model number V2361GA was also spotted there. Let’s see what information has emerged from the certification platform about these Vivo handsets.

Vivo V2361A / V2361GA phone received 3C certification

New Vivo phones with model number Vivo V2361A / V2361GA have been listed on China Compulsory Certification site. They are seen in the database with the V8073L0A1-CN / V8073L0E0 charger, which supports 80W fast charging. Also, both the devices have been approved by CMIIT authorities in China. Currently, there is no clarity on which brand of phone the V2361A and V2361GA will debut as Vivo or iQOO. It is believed that both the models could make their debut in the country by the end of this month or the beginning of May.

In China, Vivo recently launched the Vivo Xfold 3 and Xfold 3 Pro foldable phones as well as the Vivo Pad 3 Pro tablet. Its sub-brand, iCo will also launch a new Qualcomm Snapdragon 8S Gen 3-powered Ico Z9 Turbo in the Chinese market this month.

The iQOO Z9 Turbo is expected to be launched alongside the iQOO Z9 and iQOO Z9x featuring Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 and Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipsets respectively. iQOO is said to be developing the iQOO Pad 2 and Pad 2 Pro for the Chinese market. Apart from this, iQOO is also reportedly gearing up to launch the next generation iQOO Neo 10 and Neo 10 Pro tablets under their Neo series. These two tabs are likely to come with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and Dimensity 9300 (or 9300+) chipsets respectively.

Notably, Vivo is expected to launch the MediaTek Dimensity 9300 Plus-powered Vivo X100s and X100s Pro next week. And a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3-powered Vivo X100 Ultra with satellite connectivity support is also reportedly in the works. The brand is also rumored to unveil the Vivo S19 series in the current quarter of this year.
