Ather Energy, one of India's leading e-scooter manufacturers, has launched a new version of its oldest model, the 450X. It has been upgraded with more mileage and a host of advanced features. The 2.9 kWh battery variant of the 2025 Ather 450X is now priced at Rs 1.47 lakh (ex-showroom), while the 3.7 kWh trim has been priced at Rs 1.57 lakh (ex-showroom).

The new 450X can be purchased with the optional Pro Pack The base model will cost Rs 17,000 and the larger battery will cost Rs 20,000. In terms of features, Ether has added new names to the list. As the electric scooter will now offer three traction control modes – Rain, Road and Rally. There is also an option to turn off the traction system.
Aether has dropped their Magic Twist Regenerative Braking feature from the 450 Apex to the 450X model. The company has developed special tires for this electric scooter in collaboration with MRF. Named Zapper N E-Trade Tires. Aether Energy claims this tire offers 25 percent more real-world range for less rolling assistance. The range is 160 km in IDC i.e. ideal driving condition.
The true range of the 2.9 kW version of the Ether 450X has increased from 85 km to 105 km.
On the other hand, the true range of the 3.7 kWh battery has increased to 130 km. Which is 25 km more than before. AtherStack 6 software is included with the Pro Pack. It will allow Google Maps, Alexa pairing, WhatsApp notifications on the dashboard, Ping My Scooter and live show sharing. The company is offering a 700 watt home charger. It will charge the base model's battery from 0-80 percent in three hours.
