Last May, HTC unveiled the HTC U23 and U23 Pro smartphones in the Taiwan market. However, the company only revealed the specifications and price of the ‘Pro’ model then. However, HTC decided to keep the U23-series base model under wraps, starting with its features and pricing. But today, almost 2 months after the official announcement, the company has finally confirmed the specifications and launch date of the HTC U23 smartphone through their official Facebook page.
HTC U23 Smartphone Specifications
According to information shared by the company, the HTC U23 smartphone will feature a 6.7-inch Full HD Plus OLED display. The display will be protected by Gorilla Glass Victus and will support 120Hz refresh rate. It will come with Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 processor to deliver enhanced performance. Again 8 GB RAM and 128 GB memory will be available as storage. The handset in question has a 4,600mAh capacity battery, which will support 30W fast charging, 15W wireless charging and reverse charging technology.
The upcoming HTC U23 phone will feature a triple rear camera setup. These cameras are – 64-megapixel primary sensor, 8-megapixel secondary lens, and 2-megapixel lens. Of which the main camera supports ‘Electronic Image Stabilization’ (EIS) and 4K (4K) resolution video recording. And each rear sensor offers camera modes like professional mode, night scene mode, instant portrait mode, 120-degree wide-angle shot, beauty adjustment, time-lapse photography and slow-motion photography. Meanwhile, the device will have a 32-megapixel selfie camera on the front, which will provide access to beauty adjustments, instant portrait mode, night scene mode and time-lapse photography camera options.
Talking about other features, the HTC U23 phone will be available with dual speaker system. Connectivity options include – a 3.5mm audio jack and Wi-Fi 6. The device will come with an IP67 rating for water and dust resistance. Also, courtesy of the company’s official Facebook page, it is known that the HTC U23 smartphone will be launched in two color options, namely – Aqua Blue and Roland Violet.
Although the relevant feature has been revealed, HTC has not yet announced the price of this upcoming handset. We guess, the launch day i.e. 25th July will be known in detail.
