Aiko has started the push to bring its next Z-series smartphone to India. Speculations about this upcoming handset called iQOO Z9 5G have been rife for the past few months. Even multiple features have been leaked online. Vivo subsidiary brand has now finally announced the launch date of iQOO Z9 5G in India. Aiko has confirmed that they will take the wraps off this much-awaited phone early next month.
The iQOO Z9 5G is coming to India next month
Aiko has announced through their official social media channels that the Aiko Z9 5G will be launched in India on March 12 The teaser has been released by the company and it has been informed that MediaTek Dimension 7200 processor will be used in this Z series phone. It will be sold in this country through Amazon.
Also, the iCoa Z9 5G is confirmed to feature a dual-rear camera setup with a 50-megapixel Sony IMX882 sensor. The primary rear sensor will also have optical image stabilization (OIS) support. Aiko claims that the Aiko Z9 will be the first smartphone in its segment to feature the Sony IMX882 sensor.
The Indian variant of the iQOO Z9 carries the model number I2302 and was recently spotted on the Geekbench benchmark database. According to its listing, it will offer 8GB of RAM and run on the latest version of Android, i.e. Android 14.
Note that the iQOO Z9 is going to be the successor of the iQOO Z7 which was launched last March. The predecessor model has an AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate and offers FullHD+ resolution. So, the upcoming Z-series model is expected to feature a FullHD+ AMOLED display with a 90Hz or 120Hz refresh rate. The iQOO Z9 will likely come with a 5,000mAh battery with 44W fast charging support.
