The wait is over and here it is, Motorola’s big announcement on June 22 with two flagship phones

After days of speculation and the release of numerous teasers, Motorola has finally set a timeline for the launch of its Razr 40 series of foldable phones in India. The company recently revealed that they will soon be selling the Razr 40 Ultra foldable on Amazon’s platform. Now the device’s product page on Amazon has confirmed that all the specifications will be revealed on June 22, along with the launch date in India. Already, Motorola has listed both the Razr 40 Ultra and the comparatively affordable Razr 40 model on its website in India. Let’s find out what information has surfaced about these two foldables coming to India.

The launch date of Motorola Razr 40 series in India will be announced next week

According to Motorola India’s official website, two models of the Razer 40 series are coming to India. These include the high-end Motorola Razr 40 Ultra (also known as the Razer Plus) and the standard Motorola Razr 40 (also known as the 2023 Razer). It is not clear whether both the phones will be launched at the same time. A major reason for this ambiguity is that Motorola has so far only been advertising and promoting its high-end Razer 40 Ultra foldable in India. But no such initiative has surfaced for the Razer 40 yet.

A recent report revealed that only the Motorola Razr 40 Ultra has passed the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) certification in India so far. Let us know that Motorola Razer 40 Ultra and Razer 40 models were launched in China on June 1. Also, at the same time the Razer 40 Ultra and Razer 40 were unveiled in the US as the Razer Plus and 2023 Razer. Although handsets from different markets have different names, they offer similar specifications.

On the other hand, the Motorola Razr 40 is available in the Chinese market starting at 3,999 Yuan (roughly Rs. 46,000) and features a 6.9-inch full-HD+ foldable OLED screen, which supports a 144Hz refresh rate. Its cover screen is much smaller than high-end models, only 1.5 inches. The phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipset and features a dual rear camera unit with a 64-megapixel primary camera sensor and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide lens. The Razr 40’s inner primary display houses a 32-megapixel selfie camera. For power backup, the phone has a large 4,200 mAh battery and comes with an IP52 rated chassis for water and dust resistance.
