OnePlus is going to launch its new flagship smartphone OnePlus 15 in China tomorrow, October 27. It will be the successor model of OnePlus 13 launched last year. Initially the phone will be available in China and in coming days in other markets including India. The microsite for the device has already gone live on Amazon India’s website. However, the company is yet to announce its launch date in India. The OnePlus 15 device is said to feature a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, a large 7300 mAh battery and a triple camera setup.

Talking about the design, the OnePlus 15 model will look similar to the OnePlus 13s. The rear panel will have the Scoval camera island and the company’s branding can be noticed in the middle. It will feature a microspace-grade nano-ceramic metal frame. And the device will come with an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance. It will weigh 211 grams and will be 8.1mm slim.
According to reports, the OnePlus 15 smartphone will feature a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a 165Hz refresh rate. For performance it will use Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor. The device will be ideal for tasks like 4K video editing and gaming. It will also have the new Max Engine camera system. This system is expected to perform real-time photo processing.
For photography, the OnePlus 15 model will get a triple 50-megapixel rear camera system, consisting of a primary sensor, an ultra-wide lens and a telephoto lens. And for power backup, it will get 7300 mAh battery. It will support 120W wired fast charging and 50W wireless charging.
OnePlus Ace 6 will be launched tomorrow
Along with the OnePlus 15, the OnePlus Ace 6 handset will also be launched in China tomorrow. The launch event is scheduled to begin at 7 pm China time (4:30 pm Indian time).
OnePlus 15 launch and price in India
OnePlus 15 is expected to launch in global markets including India by mid-November. It is expected to be priced between Rs 70,000 and Rs 75,000 in India.
