Honor’s new smartphone series, the Honor 500 is expected to launch soon. Recently two phones of this series (model numbers MEY-AN00 and MEP-AN00) appeared on China’s 3C certification site. Although the company has not yet confirmed the launch date of these handsets. But today a new device with model number MEY-AN00 was spotted on benchmarking platform Geekbench. According to this listing, the phone will be powered by Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. According to reports, the handset will be launched as Honor 500 Pro. Earlier it was rumored that the Honor 500 device with model number MEY-AN00 will be powered by Snapdragon 8S Gen 4 chipset.
Honor 500 Pro RAM, Storage and Color Variants
Geekbench has revealed that the Pro series model will have 16GB of RAM and will run on Android 16 operating system. On the benchmark platform, the smartphone scored 3100 points in the single-core test and 9463 points in the multi-core test. The company has already confirmed that the phone will come in 12GB + 256GB, 12GB + 512GB, 16GB + 512GB, and 16GB + 1TB variants. It will be available in Aquamarine, Starlit Pink, Obsidian Black and Moonlight Silver color options.
There may be a 200 megapixel camera
According to the leaked report, the Honor 500 Pro handset will have a 6.55-inch OLED display with 1.5K resolution. This display will support 120 Hz refresh rate. For photography, it may have a 200-megapixel primary camera, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera and a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera. It will have a 50-megapixel front camera for selfies and video calling.
May have 8000 mAh battery
The Honor 500 Pro model may be powered by an 8000 mAh battery. The battery is expected to support 100W fast charging and 50W wireless charging. It will have an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint sensor for security. This new Honor smartphone series is expected to be launched in China on November 24th.
