Huawei Y7a has been launched with Quad Rear Camera setup and Kirin 710A SoC in Malaysia. It is the rebranded version of the Huawei P Smart 2021 which was launched back in September. The Huawei Y7a comes in a three colour option – Blush Gold, Crush Green, and Midnight Black. It runs on EMUI 10.1, based on Android 10 out of the box.

Huawei Y7a comes with a 6.67-inch 20:9 IPS full-HD+ (1,080×2,400 pixels) resolution display. Under the hood, The smartphone is powered by an octa-core Huawei HiSilicon Kirin 710A SoC, ARM Mali-G51 MP4 GPU, and paired with up to 4GB of RAM + 128GB of internal storage. There is also a dedicated microSD card slot for the expansion of storage (up to 512GB).
Coming to optics, The smartphone is equipped with a quad rear camera setup that includes a 48-megapixel (primary) sensor + 8-megapixel (Ultrawide) sensor + 2-megapixel (depth) sensor + 2-megapixel (macro) shooter. The camera feature also includes Super Night Shot, panorama, portrait mode, and more. On the front, the Huawei Y7a has an 8-megapixel camera selfie shooter with an aperture of f/2.0. It packs a 5,000mAh battery that supports the 22.5W SuperCharge fast charging technology.
In terms of connectivity, The smartphone includes the support of a 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v5.1, GPS/ A-GPS, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. For Sensors, The smartphone has an accelerometer, ambient light, magnetometer, proximity sensor, and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. Moreover, the phone measures 165.65×76.88×9.26mm and weighs 206 grams.

Huawei Y7a is priced at MYR 799 (around Rs. 14,200) for the 4GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. There is also a 4GB RAM + 64GB storage variant but that’s limited to the Latin American markets. The company has not shared any information related to its International availability.
