Tecno is also not lagging behind in the new product launch race, releasing the new Tecno Pocket Go (hand-on) handheld console and the Tecno POVA 6 Pro. Besides, the company also responded by showcasing the Camon 30 Premiere 5G smartphone. It is going to be the successor of Tecno Camon 20 Premiere 5G. Tecno Camon 30 Premiere 5G was unveiled at MWC 2024
The Tecno Camon 30 Premium 5G has a flat frame and the rear panel features an artificial leather-texture with folder icon design. The device has a circular protruding module, which houses three cameras with a 50-megapixel Sony IMX890 sensor and a 70mm portrait periscope lens. It offers up to 60x hybrid zoom. The phone will have a 50-megapixel front-facing selfie camera with eye-tracking technology.
Tecno says the Camon 30 Premium 5G will be the first phone with its PolarAce imaging system. It is powered by Sony’s imaging chip, the CXD5622GG, and offers various AI imaging upgrades. The smartphone is also said to offer industry-first 4K HDR video recording at 30 frames per second (fps).
Besides, the Tecno Camon 30 Premier 5G has a punch-hole cutout display on the front, with a resolution of 1.5K. It has an LTPO screen with 1 billion (1 billion) colors and 1,400 nits peak brightness. Also, the Tecno Camon 30 Premier 5G phone is confirmed to run on the MediaTek Dimensity 8200 Ultra processor. It will be paired with a Sony imaging chip. Tecno has not revealed all the features of this phone yet. However, the smartphone is said to be officially launched in the second quarter of this year, which means it will make its debut between April and June.
