Honor is going to launch their upcoming flagship Honor Magic V2 smartphone in China tomorrow i.e. July 12th. It is claimed to debut as the world’s slimmest foldable smartphone yet. The Magic V2 could set a new precedent by beating the current slimmest phone – the Huawei Mate X3. Since the launch is just a day later, the company has started revealing various information about the Honor Magic V2 to make it attractive to the buyers. Now some samples of photos taken by the foldable phone have been released to give an idea about the camera quality.
Honor Magic V2’s camera sample image has been revealed
Honor’s product line president shared some photos of the beautiful sunset in Beijing captured by the camera of the upcoming Magic V2. These images showcase the fine details of the scene. However, it won’t be fair to judge the phone’s camera quality until it’s launched. Because the images shared by the officials often do not show the real camera capabilities of the phone. The Honor Magic V2 will be marketed as one of the slimmest and lightest smartphones in the world. The smartphone is expected to live up to these claims, as the company is currently comparing it to the iPhone 14 Pro Max, which weighs just 240 grams.
Besides, Honor’s foldable is expected to offer cutting-edge hardware. It can use Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 processor. However, the company may also launch a higher-end version of the device with Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor.
Although, not much is known about the Honor Magic V2’s display yet, it is rumored to feature a 7.9-inch foldable LTPO OLED panel with 2K resolution. The Magic V2 may feature a 50-megapixel Sony IMX800 primary sensor on the rear panel and is said to run Magic OS 7 software version.
