Rumors have been rife for quite some time that Redmi is gearing up to launch the next models in their performance-focused K series. Finally today the company has confirmed the launch date of the Redmi K90 series. According to the official poster, the upcoming series is going to hit the market this month. The poster also gives a glimpse of the design of the upcoming K90 series. Let’s know about this in detail.
Redmi K90 Pro Max launch date revealed
A new poster released by Redmi confirms that the Redmi K90 Pro Max will be launched in China on October 27. Although, not clearly mentioned in the post, it is expected that the standard Redmi K90 model will also debut along with the Pro Max variant at the same launch event.
Design of Redmi K90 Pro Max
The teasers shared by the brand show the white version of the Redmi K90 Pro Max, which will offer a sleek design with ultra-slim bezels and rounded corners. On the rear panel of the phone sits the large rectangular camera module, with the camera sensor and LED flash on the left. And on the right side “Sound by Bose” (Sound by Bose) branding can also be seen. That is, it will have premium-tuned audio output. The company is yet to release official images of the Redmi K90, but it is expected to feature the same design language as the Pro Max.
Redmi K90 Series Specifications (Expected)
So far, various reports have suggested that the Redmi K90 Pro Max model will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, while the Redmi K90 handset will use last year’s Snapdragon 8 Elite processor. Both the devices will run on Android 16 based HyperOS 3 custom skin.
The Redmi K90 series is expected to feature a 6.59-inch OLED display with 2K resolution, offering bright visuals and deep contrast. The devices are likely to be powered by a large 7,500mAh battery, which can support 100W fast charging and 50W wireless charging speed. The camera setup of the Redmi K90 Pro Max model is also expected to feature a periscope telephoto lens.
Note that the price of the Redmi K90 series is rumored to be around 3,990 Yuan (about Rs. 49,300) in China. And it is expected that the global brand line will be launched soon with Poco branding. The Redmi K90 may debut as the Poco F8 Pro and the K90 Pro Max variant in the international market as the Poco F8 Ultra.
