So the third phone was expected to be released in 2025. Rumor has it that the Redmi K80 Ultra is coming to the market in the middle of this year. Redmi K80 Ultra Specifications (Probable)
A popular Chinese tipster digital chat station has leaked several details of the Redmi K80 Ultra on social media. Redmi unveiled the K70 Ultra in July last year, featuring the Dimensity 9300 Plus processor. As a result, the successor of the device is expected to be launched at the same time this year. While the tipster did not specify the name of the phone in his post, it is speculated to be Redmi's upcoming flagship.
According to the source, the current engineering prototype of the Redmi K80 Ultra features a flat oval display with thin bezels all around. It offers ultrasonic fingerprint sensor and 1.5K resolution. Like the K70 Ultra, the new phone will have a metal middle frame and IP68-rated water and dust resistant chassis, making it a durable device.
Talking about the performance, the Redmi K80 Ultra model may have the powerful Dimension 9400 processor. Note that last year's Redmi Ultra phone had the Dimension 9200+ chipset. The battery capacity of the K80 Ultra could be 6,500 mAh. This will be a significant upgrade over the predecessor's 5,500 mAh battery.
