Redmi has organized a launch event in China tomorrow i.e. 3rd August. It is believed that the much-awaited Redmi K60 Ultra smartphone will be unveiled during the upcoming event. Because it has been heard for the past few days that the model in question is going to make its debut in the Chinese market very soon. Also, Xiaomi’s sub-brand was seen sharing a teaser poster on their official Weibo handle today. Which confirmed that ‘MediaTek’ and ‘Pixelworks’ related devices will be unveiled at the launch event. In this regard, the upcoming Redmi K60 Ultra will offer MediaTek’s Dimension 9200 Plus chipset and Pixelworks’ display chip to provide a great visual experience. So it goes without saying that the Redmi K60 Ultra is going to be launched tomorrow.
However, in addition to this smartphone, several other new products are expected to make their debut at tomorrow’s launch event. This list includes – Xiaomi Mix Fold 3, Xiaomi Pad 6, and Redmi Pad 2 Several details of the K60-series ‘Ultra’ model have been leaked in Halfil. Due to which several possible features of the device have come to the fore.
Possible Specifications of Redmi K60 Ultra
As per previous reports, the Redmi K60 Ultra smartphone will come with a 6.67-inch OLED panel with 1.5K resolution and 144Hz refresh rate support. It may get an under-display fingerprint sensor as a security feature. The device in question will be powered by the MediaTek Dimension 9200 Plus chipset. And as storage 12 GB / 16 GB LPDDR5x RAM and 512 GB / 1 Terabyte ROM can be found. Besides, for power backup, this upcoming handset from Redmi is expected to have a 5,000mAh or 5,500mAh capacity battery with 120W fast charging support.
Incidentally, a latest report claims that the Xiaomi 13T Pro model will be launched in the global market as a rebranded version of the upcoming Redmi K60 Ultra smartphone. Both the Xiaomi 13T Pro and Xiaomi 13T phones are likely to be announced globally on September 1.
