As expected, the Red Magic 11 Pro series was launched in China today. Devices in this lineup feature the company’s first use of liquid cooling technology and the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip. While the Red Magic 11 Pro model is available in two shades and two storage variants, the Pro+ model comes in three color options and four storage configurations. In China, the base variant of the Red Magic 11 Pro handset with 12 GB RAM + 256 GB storage has been priced at 4,999 Yuan (around Rs. 62,000). And the 16GB RAM + 512GB storage option is available for 5,699 Yuan (around Rs. 70,000). The handset is available in Dark Knight and Silver War God shades.
On the other hand, the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage and 16GB RAM + 512GB storage models of Red Magic 11 Pro+ are priced at 5,699 Yuan (approx. Rs. 70,000) and 6,499 Yuan (approx. Rs. 80,000) respectively. And the higher 16GB + 1TB and 24GB + 1TB variants are priced at 6,999 Yuan (approx. Rs. 86,000) and 7,699 Yuan (approx. Rs. 95,000) respectively. It comes in Deuterium Front Transparent Silver Wing, Deuterium Front Transparent Dark Knight and Dark Knight colors.
Specifications of the Red Magic 11 Pro lineup
The Red Magic 11 Pro series features a 6.85-inch display with 1.5K resolution, which offers a maximum refresh rate of 144 Hz and a 95.3 percent screen-to-body ratio. It also has Star Shield Eye Protection 2.0, Magic Touch 3.0 and Wet Hand Touch support. The display is made of X10 Luminous material, which is claimed to offer 10 percent lower power consumption and 30 percent longer lifespan. The handsets also feature an in-display 3D ultrasonic fingerprint sensor. The lineup runs on Red Magic OS 11 custom skin.
The new Red Magic 11 Pro series devices are powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset for performance, coupled with up to 24GB of RAM and up to 1TB of storage. They will have Cube Game Engine 3.0 (Cube Game Engine 3.0) and built-in PC games emulator. For heat management, the handsets come with dual wind and water cooling systems.
For photography, both models in the Red Magic 11 Pro lineup offer a 50-megapixel primary camera with a 1/1.55-inch CMOS sensor, f/1.88 aperture, and optical image stabilization (OIS). The series supports AI eraser and one-click photo editing. Other artificial intelligence (AI)-powered tools include AI Writing Assistance, AI Object Recognition, AI Circle to Search, and AI Tactical Coach.
The Red Magic 11 Pro lineup has an IPX8 rating for water resistance, the brand claims. For power backup, the phones are powered by an 8,000mAh Bull Demon King Battery 3.0 with 120W wired and 80W wireless charging support.
