Poco, the popular sub-brand of Xiaomi, is gearing up to launch a new smartphone in India, the Poco X6 Neo. It will be part of the Poco X6 lineup, under which the standard Poco X6 and Poco X6 Pro were launched last January. The launch of Poco X6 Neo in India has been rumored since last month. It is expected to hit the market below Rs 16,000 within the next week. Before the official launch, the picture of Poco’s new phone has also come to the public.
The Poco X6 Neo has a similar design to the Redmi Note 13R Pro
Based on leaked images reported by Gadgets360, the Poco X6 Neo will feature a dual rear camera system. As the image resembles the Redmi Note 13R Pro, it is assumed that this could be the rebranded version of the Redmi phone. Further fueling this speculation, the report claims that the Poco X6 Neo will have similar specifications to the Redmi Note 13R Pro, with a 108-megapixel primary camera and a long-lasting 5,000mAh battery.
It is also said that the Poco X6 Neo will be powered by the MediaTek Dimension 6080 processor. It is a powerful chipset, capable of delivering smooth performance for daily tasks as well as light gaming The phone can come with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, which will offer enough space for multitasking and storing apps, games and media files. The front of the Poco X6 Neo will have a 6.67-inch OLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate.
In terms of cameras, the Poco X6 Neo may feature a dual rear camera system with a 108-megapixel primary sensor. The main camera is likely to be paired with a 2-megapixel depth sensor for capturing portrait shots with artistic background blur. For selfies and video calls, the front of the phone will house a 16-megapixel front-facing camera. Besides, the Poco X6 Neo will include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for security. In terms of power backup, the handset is expected to use a large 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support.
