Oppo Reno 9A is rumored to be launched exclusively for Japanese customers. The smartphone will debut as an upgraded version of last year’s Oppo Reno 7A. It is to be noted here that the brand has skipped the launch of the Reno 8A model for some unknown reason, making the Reno 9A a direct successor to the 7A in this lineup. The complete specifications and images of the smartphone have been revealed from a new source.
Oppo Reno 9A: Design Leaked
The Tech Outlook has shared some renders and key specifications of the Oppo Reno 9A. The leaked renders reveal that the phone will have a punch-hole cutout in the left corner of the display, which will house the front camera. And on top of the rear panel of the handset will be seen a rectangular glossy section, which will house a triple camera setup with a dual LED flash unit. The design of the Reno 9A’s camera module is similar to that of the Realme GT Neo 3T.
Oppo Reno 9A: Specifications (Possible)
The Oppo Reno 9A will feature a 6.4-inch AMOLED display with a punch-hole design. The screen will offer FullHD+ resolution, 90Hz refresh rate and an under-display fingerprint scanner. The Reno 9A is likely to be a midrange phone powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 695 chipset. 8 GB physical RAM, 8 GB virtual RAM and 128 GB storage will be available in this Oppo phone. Besides, the device will run ColorOS 13 user interface based on Android 13.
For photography, the Oppo Reno 9A will feature a triple camera setup on the back panel comprising of a 48-megapixel primary camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens and a 2-megapixel macro camera. And in front of the phone will be a 16-megapixel front-facing camera for taking selfies and making video calls.
For power backup, it will come with a 4,500mAh battery, which will support Quick Charge 1.0/USB PD 2.0 charging protocol. Also, the handset will have a microSD card slot, e-SIM support, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.1, a USB-C port and a 3.5mm audio jack. Oppo Reno 9A will come with an IPX8 / IP6X waterproof and dust-resistant chassis. It is rumored that the phone will be available in Japan in color options like Night Black and Moon White.
