After all the launches in China, Oppo is gearing up to launch its latest Oppo Reno 12 series smartphones in the global market. The brand has already announced that the Reno 12 lineup will hit the global market this month. The series is expected to include three models, namely Oppo Reno 12F, Oppo Reno 12 and Oppo Reno 12 Pro. And now, courtesy of a tipster, it has been revealed that the new Oppo Reno 12F phone will be available internationally in both 4G and 5G variants. Let's take a closer look at the upcoming handsets.
Oppo Reno 12F 5G and Oppo Reno 12F 4G Specifications (Probable)
According to tipster Chun, the Oppo Reno 12F 4G phone will feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 chipset, while the 5G version will use a MediaTek Dimension 6300V processor. The 4G version may cost less than $300 (roughly Rs. 25,040) in Southeast Asian markets. However, there is no information available yet about the price of the Oppo Reno 12F 5G variant. Both the phones will be sold in Grey, Green and Orange color options.
It is also reported that the Oppo Reno 12F 5G phone will get Near Field Communication (NFC) support, but the 4G variant will miss it. However, both the phones will come with identical camera setup. The handsets will feature a 32-megapixel Sony IMX615 selfie camera on the front.
The rear panel of both the Oppo Reno 12F 5G and Oppo Reno 12F 4G devices will house a 50-megapixel OmniVision OV50D primary camera, along with an 8-megapixel and a 2-megapixel secondary camera. Both the phones will feature an LED ring around the camera.
However, the 4G and 5G variants of the Oppo Reno 12F phone may differ in terms of RAM and storage options. However, the tipster has not leaked any information about the RAM, storage, display, battery or charging of the Reno 12F series. However, a recent certification has revealed that the Oppo Reno 12F 5G version may have a 5,000mAh battery with 45W fast charging support. Hopefully, more details about the Oppo Reno 12F series will be revealed in the coming days.
