Oppo launched the Find series flagships, Oppo Find X7 and Find X7 Ultra in China in January this year. Although not yet launched in the global market, it holds the title of being the industry’s first dual periscope camera smartphone. The brand is currently said to be working on a new variant of the Ultra model, which is called the Oppo Find X7 Ultra Satellite Communication Edition. And now, several important details including the phone’s price and specifications have been leaked from the Chinese telecom certification website.
Oppo Find X7 Ultra Satellite Communication Edition price and specifications leaked
The model number of Oppo Find X7 Ultra Satellite Communication Edition is said to be PHY120. It has already received Chinese Compulsory Certification (3C) platform approval, which says it will support 100W wired and 50W wireless charging technology. This time the Chinese Telecom listing has confirmed the official name.
As the name suggests, the Oppo Find X7 Ultra Satellite Communication Edition will come with satellite connectivity technology. Phones like iPhone 14 series, iPhone 15 series and Huawei Mate 50 already offer this advanced feature. The feature is very useful in emergencies, as it allows users to send and receive messages to specific recipients via satellite communication from locations without cellular network or WiFi coverage.
But apart from adding satellite connectivity, the upcoming variant of the Oppo Find X7 Ultra will offer the same specifications as the standard Ultra model. China Telecom revealed that the device will have the same design as the standard model. Its circular camera module will house four 50-megapixel sensors, two of which will be periscope lenses. And the front of the phone will have a curved display of 6.82 inches and the resolution will be 1,440 x 3,216 pixels. There will be a 5,000mAh battery.
In terms of pricing, the Oppo Find X7 Ultra Satellite Communication Edition has been listed with a price tag of 7,999 Yuan (roughly Rs. 92,300). As per the telecom certification, it could be worth the 16GB RAM + 1TB storage variant. It should be noted here that China Telecom often quotes higher prices than actual prices.
