ZTE today announced the launch of Nubia Flip, the first foldable smartphone from its Nubia brand. It was initially unveiled at the Mobile World Congress (MWC 2024) event held last February What sets it apart from other Flip smartphones is the price point. Instead of targeting the premium segment, ZTE has brought the Nubia Flip to the mid-range segment. There is no such cheap flip-fold phone in the market. It features an AMOLED flexible display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 processor, a 50-megapixel high-definition camera sensor and a hinge made of strong space-grade steel, which can withstand 2 lakh times of opening and closing.

The phone has been launched in China in three RAM and storage configurations – 8GB + 256GB, 12GB + 256GB and 12GB + 512GB. For photography, the Nubia Flip’s rear camera setup features a 50-megapixel high-definition primary sensor, along with a 2-megapixel depth sensor for portrait shots.
