Samsung launched two phones Samsung Galaxy M55 and Samsung Galaxy F55 earlier this year. Currently it is rumored that the company is preparing a new device under the M series. The upcoming phone is the Samsung Galaxy M55s. Ahead of the official launch, renders of the handset have now leaked, showing that it has a different design compared to other devices in the M lineup. Let's take a look at what information has surfaced about the Samsung Galaxy M55s.

The renders of the Samsung Galaxy M55s are leaked

Like most Samsung mid-range phones, the back panel of the Samsung Galaxy M55S handset is likely to be made of plastic. But it will have a unique texture. At least three distinct textures are visible in the leaked renders and are very different from the matte finish of the Samsung Galaxy M55 and F55 models.

Although the design is different, the leaked specifications are pretty familiar. The core hardware of the Samsung Galaxy M55S model is expected to be similar to the existing Samsung Galaxy M55 and Samsung Galaxy F55. It will have a 6.67-inch Super AMOLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate. The phone is said to come with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage (probably with microSD expansion capability).

For photography, the Samsung Galaxy M55s is said to come with a triple rear camera system comprising of a 50-megapixel primary sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS), an 8-megapixel ultrawide sensor and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. For selfies, the phone will have a 50-megapixel front-facing camera. For power backup, the Samsung Galaxy M55s device will come with a 5,000mAh battery with 45W wired charging support.

Note that the Samsung Galaxy M55s handset received the Wi-Fi Alliance certification last July. Last month the device was spotted on the Geekbench benchmarking platform, which revealed that it will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipset. Now, its design has also been revealed. However, it is still unclear when the company is planning to launch the smartphone. Hopefully more information on this will be published online soon.
