The Moto S50 phone will soon be launched as a rebranded version of the Motorola Edge 50 Neo handset. Ahead of the launch, the phone has now been spotted on the Geekbench benchmarking site.
Motorola recently launched the Motorola Edge 50 Neo smartphone in the global market, which offers a 1.5K resolution P-OLED display, MediaTek Dimensity processor and a 50-megapixel primary camera with optical image stabilization (OIS). The same device is said to be launched in China as the Moto S50. Ahead of the launch, the phone has now been spotted on the Geekbench benchmarking platform, revealing some of its key specifications. Moto S50 has appeared on the Geekbench database
The Moto S50 handset with model number XT2409-5 has appeared on the Geekbench benchmarking site. According to the listing, the phone will run on the MediaTek Dimension 7300 processor, which is already used in the Motorola Edge 50 Neo phone. For graphics, the chipset is paired with Mali-G615 MC2 GPU and has a maximum clock speed of 2.50 GHz with 12 GB of RAM.
Besides, other specifications of the Moto S50 phone have been leaked recently. It is reported to feature a 6.36-inch FullHD+ OLED display with 120Hz refresh rate and support for HDR10+.
The device is said to be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset paired with LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.2 storage. For power backup, the Moto S50 handset may have a 4,400mAh battery, which will support 68W fast charging.
For photography, the Moto S50 model's rear camera setup may include a 50-megapixel primary sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS), a 13-megapixel ultra-wide camera and a 10-megapixel telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom. And the front of the phone will have a 32-megapixel front-facing camera. Additional features of the handset will include an in-display fingerprint sensor and IP68 water and dust resistant rating.
