Redmi is going to launch the Redmi 12 smartphone in India on August 1. The teaser of the Moonstone Silver color variant of this device has already been released. Now again Redmi has confirmed that the Redmi 12 phone will also be available in Jade Black color. And Moonstone Silver color like Jade Black variant will come with crystal glass finish.
Redmi 12 is coming in Jade Black color variant
Redmi India tweeted that the Redmi 12 device will be available in Jade Black color in India. It will offer premium look within the budget. The Redmi 12 is already available in the global market in the same color, albeit with a different name.
Redmi 12 specifications and features
The front of the Redmi 12 phone will feature a 6.79-inch Full HD Plus IPS LCD, which will offer 550 nits brightness and 90 Hz refresh rate. And for security it has a side mounted fingerprint sensor. For performance, it has MediaTek Helio G88 processor, 8 GB RAM and 256 GB storage. Although it is not yet confirmed whether it will be available with 8GB RAM in India.
And the IP53 rated Redmi 12 device has a 5,000mAh battery for power backup, which will support 33W fast charging. It will run on MIUI 14 custom skin based on Android 13.
It has a triple rear camera setup for photography. These cameras are a 50-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. And for selfies and video calling, this phone will have an 8 megapixel front camera.
