And the wait is going to end with Nothing Phone (2) in a few days. The smartphone is being launched on July 11. Before that, several promotional teasers have been shared by the company to maintain the hype. Which brought forth multiple facts about Nothing Phone (2). As the design of the phone is not changing much. It can be said that no significant changes will be seen. Like its predecessor, it will come with a transparent back panel equipped with LED lights. But the latest teaser hints that, while the front of the Nothing Phone (2) will remain largely unchanged from the Phone (1), the number of curves at the back will increase.
The Nothing Phone (2) will have no flat sides
Nothing has already been able to bring innovation to their products in terms of design. Even the design of their first smartphone, the Nothing Phone (1) garnered much praise. However, many say it is nothing more than an iPhone copy except for the transparent rear panel with LED lights. But many believe that the handset follows an innovative approach. If the company wants to retain this innovation for their second generation handsets, it seems that there will not be much changes in the design.
A recent teaser revealed that the Nothing Phone (2) will feature a centered punch-hole cutout for the front camera and relatively thin bezels above and on either side of the display. It will have a 6.7-inch AMOLED screen, which can offer FullHD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. Nothing will leave the back panel of their upcoming phone completely unchanged either. While the new model will have the same transparent back panel with the Glyph interface with the company’s signature LED light for notifications, the edges will be slightly curved instead of straight.
The Nothing Phone (2) is now available for pre-order in India and can be pre-booked for Rs 2,000 on Flipkart. The launch event will be held on July 11. Phone (2) will be powered by Snapragon 8+ Gen 1 processor.
