iQOO is bringing a powerful phone with massively powerful processor, lots of information leaks before the launch

iQOO just a few days ago launched iQOO 11S as their new premium smartphone in China. This new handset is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, AMOLED display with 144Hz refresh rate and supports 200W fast charging. The iQOO 11S is expected to launch in multiple markets outside of China very soon. However, no information has been confirmed by ICO in this regard yet. Meanwhile, a reliable source has revealed some important details about the next flagship phone in the company’s number series, the iQOO 12. The handset is likely to be launched in other global markets including China in the last quarter of this year. This upcoming Android flagship smartphone is expected to come with many upgrades. Let’s see what new information has been leaked regarding iQOO 12 specifications and features.

Here are the key specifications of the iQOO 12

The ICO 12 will likely offer some top-of-the-line hardware. This flagship smartphone may debut in the Chinese market by the end of this year A few months ahead of the launch now, tipster digital chat station has claimed in a Weibo (Chinese microblogging site) post that the upcoming Android flagship smartphone from iCo, the iCo 12 will be powered by Qualcomm’s high-end Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. Qualcomm is said to unveil this flagship mobile platform at their Snapdragon Summit next October. Aiko is likely to confirm the inclusion of Qualcomm’s latest top-end processor in their flagship phone at the Snapdragon Summit.

Also, tipster Digital Chat Station says that the Aiko 12 will launch with a maximum of 16GB of RAM and 512GB/1TB of storage. The phone is said to have a triple-camera setup on the back panel, housing a 50-megapixel primary camera sensor. There is currently no information available about other sensors. Aiko is said to be currently testing multiple camera layout designs for the device, one of which has the camera module placed in the top left corner.

In terms of power backup, the iQOO 12 phone is also said to support 100W fast charging, which would be strange considering the charging speed of its predecessor, the iQOO 11S and even the iQOO 11, as these two models offer 200W and 120W fast charging support respectively. So 100W charging in their successors will be a big downgrade. The iQOO 12 is expected to have a battery capacity between 4,700 mAh and 5,000 mAh.

Besides, the iQOO 12 5G is likely to feature a flat display. It will likely come with an AMOLED panel with 144Hz refresh rate and 2K resolution. Other details of the device are currently unknown, but more information is expected to surface soon.
