Infinix Note 40 Pro: Two new phones launched in India with wireless charging, powerful features even in budget phones

Infinix today launched the new Infinix Note 40 Pro smartphone series in the Indian market. A total of two handsets come under this lineup, namely – Infinix Note 40 Pro and Note 40 Pro+. Both models offer identical features. But the uniqueness will be noticed in terms of battery and charging capacity. Speaking of specifications, the company has given its own MagCharge technology to this latest series. This technology will work very similar to Apple’s MagSafe. Infinix Note 40 Pro Series Price and Availability in India

Infinix Note 40 Pro 8GB RAM + 256GB storage has been priced at Rs 21,999 in India. Again, the high-end Note 40 Pro+ smartphone with 12 GB RAM + 256 GB storage option has been priced at Rs 24,999. Both the handsets will be available in – Obsidian Black, Titan Gold and Vintage Green color options.

To inform those who are interested, an early bird sale has been organized for the Infinix Note 40 Pro series today through the e-commerce platform Flipkart. Buyers who purchase the handsets today will get a MagSafe worth Rs 1,000 and a MagPower 3,020 mAh powerbank worth Rs 3,999 completely free. A flat Rs 2,000 instant discount on the billed price will also be available on payment using HDFC and SBI Bank credit cards.

Incidentally, Infinix has also launched the MagPad 15W wireless charger along with this smartphone series. 1,999 will be spent to buy it.

Infinix Note 40 Pro series specifications and features

Both the Infinix Note 40 Pro series phones feature a 6.78-inch Full HD Plus (1080 × 2436 pixels) curved AMOLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass protection. This touchscreen – supports 10 bit panel, 120 Hz refresh rate, 1300 nits peak brightness, 50,00,000:1 contrast ratio and DCI-P3 color gamut. Octa-core MediaTek Dimension 7020 processor and BXM-8-256 graphics card for better performance.

Both phones will be available with up to 12GB LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB UFS 2.2 ROM. Both the handsets support an extended RAM feature of up to 12 GB. The latest Android 14 based XOS 14 custom skin is pre-loaded as the operating system. The company has promised two Android upgrades and three years of security patch updates with the series.

The Infinix Note 40 Pro series has a triple rear camera setup with an LED flash for photography and videography. The cameras are – 108-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.75 aperture and OIS + 2-megapixel macro sensor with f/2.4 aperture + 2-megapixel depth lens with f/2.4 aperture. Meanwhile, the front of the device features a 32-megapixel selfie shooter with f/2.2 aperture and dual LED flash.

Both phones feature a fingerprint scanner for security and a stereo speaker setup with JBL Sound and Hi-Res Audio support for good sound delivery. Connectivity options include – Dual SIM slots, 5G, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth and NFC. The series is IP53 rated for dust and water resistance.

Now let’s discuss the differences. The Infinix Note 40 Pro smartphone has a 5,000mAh capacity battery, which supports 45W fast charging and 20W MagCharge wireless charging. The higher-end model of the series, the Infinix Note 40 Pro+ comes with a 4,600 mAh battery, which supports 100W fast charging and 20W MagCharge wireless charging technology.
