In October last year, Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 chipset-powered Vivo Y200 entered the 5G market. The smartphone is currently priced at Rs 23,999 in India. And today as promised the new Y200 series model, Vivo Y200e 5G was launched in the country at a cheaper price. This budget-friendly phone has several interesting features including AMOLED display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 processor, 50-megapixel primary camera and 5,000 mAh battery.
Vivo Y200e 5G: Specifications and Features
The Vivo Y200e 5G features a 6.67-inch Samsung E4 AMOLED display, which houses a punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera. The display offers FullHD+ resolution, 120 Hz refresh rate, 394 ppi pixel density, 1,200 nits peak brightness and an in-screen fingerprint scanner. In terms of performance, the Y200E 5G is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 processor, paired with 6GB/8GB LPDDR4X RAM, up to 8GB of virtual RAM, and 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage. For audio, there will be dual speakers.
Vivo Y200e 5G houses a 50-megapixel primary camera on the back, a 2-megapixel bokeh lens, a flicker sensor and LED flash. And there is a 16-megapixel front-facing camera in front of the phone. For power backup, a 5,000mAh battery is used, which supports 44W fast charging. In terms of software, it runs FunTouch OS 14 custom skin based on Android 14 operating system. The phone has an IP-54 rated dust and water resistant chassis.
Vivo Y200e 5G: Price and Availability in India
Vivo Y200e 5G comes in two RAM options in India. The base 6GB RAM + 128GB storage is priced at Tk 19,999. And the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant is priced at Tk 20,999. The phone can be chosen between Black Diamond and Saffron Orange colors. The Vivo Y200e is now available for pre-order on Vivo India’s website, Flipkart and various offline stores in the country. The sale of Vivo Y200e 5G will start from February 27.
