Samsung launched the affordable Galaxy Tab A9 and Galaxy Tab A9 Plus in October last year. The Plus model goes on sale in the US in January. Soon after the launch in the country, the South Korean company has been offering a free book cover accessory worth $50 (roughly Rs. 4,150) with every purchase. But after a month now, Samsung has decided to offer a free storage upgrade with the Galaxy Tab A9 Plus instead of a free accessory. Let’s know about this offer in detail.
Samsung Galaxy Tab A9 Plus will get storage upgrade facility
Samsung introduced the storage upgrade offer last year with the launch of their Galaxy S23 series. The company has retained this offer for its successor Galaxy S24 series as well. And now, the company has announced this special offer for its budget tablet, the Galaxy Tab A9 Plus. US customers will get double the storage and RAM if they buy the said tablet from Samsung’s global official website. In addition, customers can also avail a trade-in bonus of up to $90 (roughly Rs. 7,475).
That is, for the price of the base 4GB RAM + 64GB storage variant of the Samsung Galaxy Tab A9 Plus ($219/ Rs. 18,200 approx), buyers will now get the higher 8GB RAM + 128GB version. Note that the current price of the higher memory configuration is $269 (approximately Rs. 22,335).
Talking about the specifications, the Samsung Galaxy Tab A9 Plus has an 11-inch display, which offers a 16:10 aspect ratio. The LCD panel supports a resolution of 1,920 x 1,200 pixels and a 90 Hz refresh rate. This Samsung tab is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 chipset. In terms of software, it runs One UI 5.1 custom skin based on Android 13 OS.
For photography, the Samsung Galaxy Tab A9 Plus features an 8-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. Also, it has quad stereo speakers. For power backup, the Galaxy Tab A9 Plus uses a massive 7,040mAh battery and supports 15W charging.
