From cameras to security, Nothing took steps to improve their phones

Nothing Phone (2a) was launched in the global market with fanfare last March. Within a month, the phone received multiple updates to improve functionality and user experience. Nothing has now started rolling out the new Nothing OS 2.5.5 update for this phone, which has improved the camera system and fixed several issues including some bugs. The Nothing OS 2.5.5 update is only 91 MB and comes with the April,2024 security patch.

Nothing OS 2.5.5 has brought about

• Improved camera color saturation.
• Optimized blur accuracy in portrait mode, as well as overall clarity.
• Improved camera loading speed.

General Improvements-

• Updated to April Security Patch.
• Optimized Google Assistant wake up experience.
• Optimized pop-up view animation for a more fluid experience
• Increased overall smoothness.
• Overall gaming experience and performance optimized.

Bug Fix-

• Fixed compatibility issues with some third-party launchers.
• Fixed stability issues with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connections
• Fixed an issue where the night light feature was not working on the lock screen.
• The overall stability of the system is optimized.

Of note, it was recently reported that Nothing is also working on an improved version of the Nothing Phone (2a) with the codename “PacManPro” and model number A142P. No details are known yet about what upgrades this phone will bring. But it is expected to be called Nothing Phone (2a)+ or Nothing Phone (2a) Pro
