Xiaomi’s popular sub-brand Redmi held a launch event in China last week, where they launched the first phone in the “Turbo” series, the Redmi Turbo 3, along with the Redmi Pad Pro Tab. This flagship killer is currently on sale in China at a starting price of 1,999 Yuan (roughly Rs. 23,000). Xiaomi Chief Executive Officer Lei Jun said a few days ago that if the Redmi Turbo 3 phone can achieve its first sale target, then he will gift the Xiaomi SU7 car to the Redmi team. And now Redmi General Manager Wang Teng has announced that the Redmi Turbo 3 has succeeded in achieving its first sales target and the brand will give one lucky buyer a chance to use the Xiaomi SU7 for a year.

According to official data, the Redmi Turbo 3 phone has bagged the title of “First-Week Sale Champion” among all the recently launched devices in its price range. Within 30 minutes of the start of the sale, the phone achieved the highest sales record this year in the 2,000 Yuan to 3,000 Yuan (Rs 23,000 to 34,500) price segment.
Redmi Brand General Manager Wang Teng took to Weibo (Chinese microblogging site) to express his gratitude to customers for this massive support. He announced that the Turbo 3 had successfully reached its initial sales target. Not only that, he also mentioned that on April 23, one lucky buyer of the first sale of the Redmi Turbo 3 will be selected and given a one-year right to use the Xiaomi SU7. This is a complimentary gift for early buyers from the Redmi team.
Wang Teng will announce the winner on April 23 through his official Weibo account and Douyin platform. However, applicants must meet certain criteria. For example – they must be over 18 years of age and have a driving license, which must have been obtained at least two years ago. Purchase order record of Redmi Turbo 3 is required to redeem one year usage rights of Xiaomi SU7. Also, the winner has to accept the vehicle himself and he cannot make any modifications to the prized vehicle.
