Avenir Telcom showcased their upcoming foldable smartphone Energizer Ultimate U660S during the ‘Mobile World Congress’ (MWC 2024) conference. The company then claims that the device will be offered at a much more affordable price than other foldable handsets in the market. But today it is known that this model has been left behind in terms of price by a BlackView smartphone.
Today a hands-on video of the rugged style phone maker brand’s first foldable smartphone has gone viral online. Where the name of the device is confirmed to be BlackView Hero 10. Also seen in the video, it will offer clamshell vertical folding design like other existing budget foldable phones. Most notably, the phone is said to be priced at just 399 Euros (roughly Rs. 35,800 in India). Whereas the Avenir Energizer Ultimate U660S model will come at a price of 499 Euros (around Rs. 44,800). Due to which the BlackView branded device has earned the title of being the most affordable foldable phone.

The newly released hands-on video shows the device to be wrapped in light purple color and silver bezels. In this regard, it is known that the Blackview Hero 10 phone will be available in three or four attractive color options with vegan leather finishing.
The right edge of the device (from the front) will house the volume rocker and the charging port at the bottom. At the back, there are two camera cutouts in a U-shaped module and a spherical secondary display. In this case, there is an LED flash right between the display and the camera cutout. Again the brand logo will be noticed at the very bottom of the back panel.
BlackView Hero 10 Smartphone Specifications
The Blackview Hero 10 smartphone will feature a 6.9-inch (2790×1188 pixels) punch-hole (centered) primary display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Again, its back panel will have a circular cover touchscreen with 60 Hz refresh rate. It will come with a dual rear camera unit, whose primary sensor will have a resolution of 108 megapixels. The resolution of the secondary sensor is still unknown. It will get a 32-megapixel front-facing snapper for selfies and video calling.
The BlackView Hero 10 phone is likely to use the MediaTek Helio G99 chipset to deliver better performance, which is also present in the upcoming Avenir Energizer Ultimate U660S model. This feature ensures that both handsets will offer 4G connectivity. And the phone may be launched with 12 GB RAM and 256 GB storage variants. As an operating system, it will get Android 13 based DokeOS 3.1 (DokeOS 3.1) custom skin. Besides, the BlackView Hero 10 phone will have a 2,630 mAh capacity battery for power backup.
