The much-awaited Realme 12 5G and Realme 12+ 5G smartphones are going to make their debut in India on March 6. But ahead of the official launch, the company teased a unique feature that will be offered with the base model Realme 12 5G in the series. The upcoming handset is claimed to include Apple device inspired ‘Dynamic Buttons’, which will facilitate multiple customizable functionalities.
The Realme 12 5G phone will have iPhone-like dynamic buttons
The functionality of this ‘dynamic button’ is not fully explained in the teaser image shared by Realme. But it is confirmed that, through this button – functions like image camera shutter, flashlight, silent mode, airplane mode, and do-not-disturb settings can be controlled. Besides, it is believed that the phone’s power button will probably work as a dynamic button.
In terms of functionality, Realme’s dynamic button concept is very similar to Apple’s action button. However, the tech giant has currently limited this feature to the more expensive iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max models. But if Realme is indeed able to introduce this feature, chances are high that it will offer this kind of facility with more affordable smartphones in the future.
Meanwhile, the Realme 12 5G smartphone recently appeared on Geekbench’s database. According to the listing on this benchmarking site, the model will come with a MediaTek Dimension 6100+ processor and 8GB of RAM. Also, some earlier reports claimed that the standard variant of the series will offer a 5,000 mAh capacity battery and a 108-megapixel primary rear camera.
Incidentally, Realme 12 5G and Realme 12+ 5G are available for pre-order from February 29. Interested buyers can pre-book the smartphone of their choice by going to the company’s website till the launch day i.e. 6th March.
