Samsung's new budget 5G phone Samsung Galaxy A17 5G can come to market within a few months. Recently this device received a clearance from the US Federal Communication Commission or FCC. It will come as the successor of the Galaxy A16 5G, which was launched on October last year. This model had a MediaTek Dimension 3 processor. It is expected that some upgrades can be seen on the upcoming Galaxy A17 5G device.
Samsung Galaxy A17 5G appears on FCC Certification Site
The Samsung Galaxy A 5G smartphone is included in the FCC Database with the SM-A176B/DS model number. At the end of its model number, 'DS' means it will come with dual SIM support and will also be available in the international market. The Samsung Galaxy A3G phone will come up with 3G connectivity as well as Wi-Fi 12.5 AC, Bluetooth 4.1 (including LE) and NFC support, the certification site mentions. And this phone will also have a microSD card slot.
Samsung Galaxy A3G's charging speed has also come out. It will also be available for EP-TA-5 charger, which will be offering 25 watts (9V/2.77A) fast charging. Some other certification sites (SGS Fimko, Finland) revealed that the device will be provided with a battery of 1,5 mAh.
It has been reported that Samsung Galaxy A17 5G's South Korean variant model number is SM-A176N, and the model number of the US variant is SM-A176u and SM-A176U1. And this smartphone will have a 5 megapixel primary rear camera, with which OIS will support optical image stabilization. In addition, the phone will run on the Android 3 -based One UI 4.1 interface.
