Just this week, a tipster online shared some interesting information about an upcoming phone from Infinix’s GT series, which has already created a buzz in the tech world. The Chinese brand is reportedly working on a phone that looks like the Nothing Phone (2). He also shared a schematic image of the upcoming handset, which showcases the strips of LED lights located on its rear panel. But till now, it was just a rumour, but now live images of this much talked about smartphone have surfaced online. The handset is reported to be launched as the Infinix GT 10 Pro+. This upcoming phone actually has some similarities with Nothing’s phone. Let’s get to know this in detail.
The leak is a live image of the Infinix GT 10 Pro and GT 10 Pro+
Infinix is reportedly gearing up to launch a new GT series of gaming-focused smartphones for the Indian market. The lineup will include at least two phones – the Infinix GT 10 Pro and the Infinix GT 10 Pro Plus. And now the live images of both these handsets have been revealed. While the Pro model has a great design, the Pro Plus variant is more attractive. According to a live image shared on Weibo (a Chinese microblogging site), the back panel of the Infinix GT10 Pro Plus will be transparent, just like the recently unveiled Nothing Phone (2).
Notably, the back of the Infinix GT10 Pro Plus features a random orange pattern and a C-shaped marking, which may include LED lights. Infinix’s device may have taken some inspiration from the Nothing Phone (2), but the similarities aren’t enough to warrant legal action against the Carl Pei-led brand for patent infringement. The Infinix smartphone is expected to attract buyers for its unique design. It could be similar to the recently launched Red Magic 8S Pro gaming phone.
Notably, the leaked images clearly show the design features of both the phones. Both the Infinix GT 10 Pro and GT 10 Pro+ will feature a FullHD+ display, 5,000mAh battery and 108-megapixel primary rear camera. A 32-megapixel selfie camera will also be seen in front of them.
The Pro model will be powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 1300 chipset with 8GB of physical RAM, additional 8GB of virtual RAM support and 256GB of in-built storage. Naturally the Infinix GT 10 Pro+ will be more premium and likely to use the Dimensity 8050 processor. Both models are expected to run on XOS 13.0 software based on Android 13.
